This section contains all documentation related to BlueUp hardware devices.

For each supported technology — Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Wirepas, and Quuppa — you will find:

image RTLS Platforms

The RTLS Platforms section is dedicated to software platforms for real-time location systems developed or supported by BlueUp.

Here you can find user guides, configuration manuals, and technical documentation for the following solutions:

  • bleenc
    A Bluetooth Low Energy–based infrastructure designed to be lightweight, flexible, and scalable, enabling RTLS solutions that natively support interaction with the surrounding environment.

  • LocateBLE
    A BLE-based localization platform for real-time tracking and monitoring applications.

  • GateDetector
    A solution for detecting and tracking the transits of assets or people through defined gates.

  • MeshCube
    A cable-free RTLS solution based on a 2.4 GHz Wirepas Mesh communication network.
    This architecture significantly reduces installation complexity and wiring costs, making it suitable for industrial inventory management, asset tracking, logistics, and distributed sensor monitoring.

  • AccuRTLS
    A high-accuracy RTLS solution based on Bluetooth LE Angle of Arrival (AoA) technology developed by Quuppa, providing real-time tracking with accuracy down to a few tens of centimeters in real operating environments.

image Bluetooth Low Energy

BlueUp BLE devices support advanced beacon firmware, ensuring compatibility with various Bluetooth LE technologies such as iBeacon Apple, Eddystone Google (with full support for the new specifications, including configuration GATT and encrypted Eddystone-EID), Quuppa Emulation Mode (for a real-time location system with sub-meter accuracy), Safety, and Sensors (with BlueUp proprietary frames for data advertising). BlueUp BLE beacons are designed to be compatible with all major mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) that support Bluetooth 4.0 or later.

BlueUp offers an extensive portfolio of devices (tags, anchors, sensors and gateways) with support of Wirepas Mesh 2.4GHz.
Wirepas Mesh 2.4GHz is a wireless network protocol that uses a multi-hop, self-organizing, and decentralized design. Decentralized network topology enables extremely dense network deployment. Wirepas Mesh 2.4GHz is used for indoor localization, tracking and monitoring solutions with cable-less infrastructure: all devices (mobile tags and anchors) are battery operated.

image Quuppa

BlueUp offers a wide portfolio of tags for Quuppa Intelligent Locating System™, a powerful RTLS platform that provides accurate and real-time positioning using Bluetooth LE Angle-of-Arrival (AoA) technology. Our tags based on nRF52 Nordic SoC have been certified by Quuppa as fully Quuppa-compatible and are provided with special firmware based on Quuppa libraries. Quuppa Compatible tags have native support for all Quuppa SW features, including back-channel for commanding and configuration, OTA FW upgrading, Quuppa proprietary channels. The Quuppa Approved marking is granted to Quuppa Compatible tags after they have passed Quuppa testing program to ensure they meet the high-quality standards for software, hardware, and mechanics.
